HARTMANNSPITAL
Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity

The Hartmannspital is a hospital in the 5th Viennese district. It is run by the Catholic female order of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity and is open to all patients.

We provide 169 beds on seven wards, 40 of them private or semi-private. All our rooms face away from the street, ensuring a quiet, restful stay.
We offer our patients professional, competent medical and nursing services in a warm family atmosphere.

Management

Ever since it was first opened in 1865, the Hartmannspital has been closely linked with the mother house of the order of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
This unity of hospital and religious house is what our patients experience as a true refuge of tranquillity, where human kindness and warmth promote the healing process and the patients’ overall well-being.
